Screen flood, indicative radon potential, noise, landfill, coal mining, invasive plants, current air quality and groundwater-protection factors without ordering paid data.

Provide postcode, or both latitude and longitude. Radon is a conservative 1 km indicative atlas result. Historic landfill is an England-only 250 metre proximity flag while its conditional licence is current. Authorised landfill is outside the factor. Official reports are still recommended.

Stable factor model

Always distinguishes matched, clear, unavailable, not_covered and licence_required. Missing data is never reported as no risk.

Open-data evidence

Returns flood and coal screens, the BGS and UKHSA 1 km indicative radon atlas, English modelled road and rail Lden noise, Source Protection Zones and the nearest current UK-AIR station reading.

Honest gaps

Radon and historic landfill are explicitly indicative and direct callers to official reports. Historic landfill can flag an England site within 250 metres while its conditional licence is active. Authorised landfill is outside the factor, and invasive plants remain unavailable.

Selective response

Use factors=all or a comma-separated subset. Unrelated source groups are not called, and each returned factor has only status, riskLevel and useful details.

Not included

Historic landfill is an England-only 250 metre proximity flag after the private import. Authorised landfill is not included.
An official address-level radon report, Groundwater vulnerability, BGS GeoSure and BGS groundwater-flood susceptibility are not included.
The invasive-plants status is unavailable. A Japanese knotweed or other invasive-species conclusion requires property evidence and usually a site survey.
Strategic noise is modelled, and today’s air quality is from the nearest station rather than the property.
Contaminated-land registers remain fragmented across local authorities.
This is not an environmental search, contaminated-land conclusion or groundwater assessment.

Billing details in the response

Successful chargeable JSON responses include a top-level billing object. The endpoint examples on this page focus on the endpoint-specific data, so this repeated block may not be shown in every example.

All authenticated API-key calls expose the billing headers, including validation errors and zero-credit status or management requests. Only successful chargeable JSON responses add the billing object to the response body.
